DEM PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS SUPPORT EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT

A blogger at a John Edwards' blog writes:

"One of the main reasons I support Senator Edwards is that he has been very involved in the fight for the Employee Free Choice Act. To be fair, I think all of the Democrats endorse, but Senator Edwards was one of its original sponsors, and none of the other candidates have made working-class issues as central to their campaign as the Senator has."

This weekend in Chicago, Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) had the following to say:

"We will pass the Employee Free Choice Act. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.... We may have to wait for the next president to sign it, but we will get this thing done."

Both Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) were co-sponsors of the Employee Free Choice Act when it was previously introduced in the 109th Congress.
